Is it hard to get into if this is all you hear?
Good question! For me they fade into the background and I only really notice the click or the cues when something is wrong, ie I’ve rushed, dragged, came in early, etc.

Honestly some Church’s have a way bigger budget when it comes to sound and hiring in professionals than a lot of music venues. While it might be an “interesting” way to use the congregations money (again some of these budgets are massive), it definitely keeps a lot of us in business! Church gig is ALWAYS a gig!

How on earth did you ever learn to do such consistent rimshots on the snare drum?? 😳😳
Haha! It’s partially practice, and partially setup. Make sure you place and angle your snare in a consistent spot so you only have to drop your arm about half an inch to catch a rimshot vs a normal snare hit
